'One vote: many voices and real choices' - European Election Debate

Thursday April 24 | 16.30 hrs | The Hague

The slogan for the 2014 European Parliaments' elections "This time it's different", is intriguing. But what's so different this time? Not at all different is the way the elections for the European Parliament are organised: national political parties campaigning on the basis of national election programmes.

Therefore, it is time for a truly 'European' debate. Key topics out of the European political party's programmes will be discussed by Dutch and Flemish candidates. What kind of Europe do they envisage and support: Social Europe, Green and sustainable Europe, Open Europe or Europe light?
